I strongly believe that the Disney company is one of the greatest empires of our time. Hear me out on this. Disney takes a huge precedence in our lives. For the majority of us, we were raised by Walt Disney and his ideals. We grew up watching the classic Disney movies like Snow White and Fantasia. When we were in preschool we watched shows on Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior like Rolie Polie Olie or The Wiggles. In our middle school and high school years, we watched Disney Channel original TV shows and movies. And now into our college years, we watch the new Marvel and Star Wars movies. With all of this in mind, it is safe to say that no matter what age you are, Disney has shaped a part of  your life. The movies and shows has shaped your idealogy and your beliefs. It’s actually kind of scary when you think about it.

Since 1923 the Walt Disney Company has amassed other smaller businesses to become the formidable empire it is known as today. The company owns part of large media platforms such as ESPN, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar, and ABC.
